You will need: Pom poms, felt, and tacky glue or hot glue. Use a tiny orange pom pom for the nose. Use a light green or grass green pom pom for the head, unless you want a scarlet macaw, then use a red one. Cut out eyes about 1/4inch wide, and wings about 1 and a half inches long, tail feathers about 2 and a half inches long, use tacky glue or hot glue to glue on. This makes a very small parrot for children.

This sounds like a blue peter moment you need a washing up bottle for the body, card for the feet, beak and wings, coloured paper for the feathers, a ball for its head or scrunched up newspaper (in a ball) and lots of glue.

Not one that has ceased to be - one that has yet to be created.
Buy a decoy bird such as a crow and paint it in jolly colours.
Honest!
You get all kinds of birds made of plastic for sports and a crow is about six or seven pounds.

Since pirates are so popular, most of the Halloween superstores will have them.
