They can call themselves what they like but they are not above federal law. These cities should be raided by immigration officials and left bare if necessary. Every business and every office that provides government assistance. Employers should be jailed and fined--and if they must close their businesses so be it. Every place that provides income based housing should be checked. Actual citizens used to live and work in these places until many were driven away by lack of opportunities. I really wish they'd hit my town. You wouldn't believe half the crap that goes on here unless you saw it with your own eyes. My hometown newspaper whines about rights for illegals all the time. Funny thing though, I just found out they have a group of illegal Guatemalan women who work for them for five bucks an hour.

I understand that as of December federal funding for policing will be cut off to those areas.
It is complicity with violating the law.

Too simple --TELL THEM HELL NO! Then when the ACLU comes marching over TELL THEM TO RELOCATE AND TAKE ALL THEIR B/S WITH THEM if they don't like it. Back to reality though, let's all just sit and watch this once truly great nation go down from from lack of backbone and simple wise practice.

The city should be responsible for the immigrants medical bills, the cost of educating their children and the cost to house them. I bet when you put it to them where it hurts they will change their minds.

No more federal monies, that's for sure...US citizens should not be required to pay taxes to support cities that have broken with US immigration law by choice...
