Stop.
Yes, anthropology conflicts with religion. But facts aren't about to convince anybody to switch camps. Religious people have developed an entire system of dodges for "facts on the ground" that seem to contradict their Biblical Truth. Embarassing fossil records? Planted by Satan, "that (the damned) should believe a lie."
I'm always amused both by the religious reactions to discoveries in science, and the expectations of more reasonable people that these discoveries will set religious people straight.

As "Neanderthals" and Homo sapiens evolved from a common ancestor there must have been a point where the two were sufficiently alike for them to be able to interbreed successfully. If this occurred then they were obviously compatible and as "Species" is generally defined as a group which interbreeds successfully producing fertile offspring then it could not have been inter-species breeding by definition. At best it would appear that Neanderthals and Homo sapiens are separate sub-species and therefore fully capable of interbreeding.
What is a "crime against nature"? where is the law book or statute that defines this? even if there is one, it certainly didn't exist when Neanderthals were around. Again, successful breeding producing viable fertile offspring is, by definition, "natural" or "what nature intended".
If God did not intend such a thing to occur then he would have made it impossible for it to actually happen.

Answer from the Neanderthal Museum (Mettmann) Germany:
They corrected former classifications and state now that the Neanderthal Man WAS a Homo Sapiens like you and me. Huh!
No interbreeding, no link, hum - no...evolution??
Cheers from the other hemisphere!

Neanderthal,as science likes to call them, never existed. The "Neanderthal Man" was found by medical experts to be a full modern human.
The word "prehistoric" was invented by scientists to try and make it look like living things exised millions and billions of years ago,and there's absolutely no way of proving that.It is just another "theory" made up by scientists to make them look like they know the answers to everything.

Well....if it happened, which it probably did, since anthropologist base their findings on ACTUAL FACTS, then looks like God allowed it. And if God couldn't allow "such a thing" then is there really a God?

Well depends if they have a common ancestor or not. If one speciated from the other then clearly at the margin this must have happened.

Sorry Neanderthals never existed. All fossils over 6000 years old are fake.
