One hours usage will use 0.4kw of energy. Find out how much your supplier charges per kw/hour. Lets say if its 10p, then 0.4 x 10p = 4p per hour. Which is around 40p for 10 hours a day. Which is £2.80 7 days a week, or £145.60 per year.

Npower rates are; Low user 14.67p inc vat per kWh High user; 10.65 inc vat per kWh. so it is 0.4 of the low or high rate (UK)

run it for a month. check your electric bill from last month when you didn't run it. this should give you an idea, or be close anyway.
