pc (windows xp based) system shuts down while download comand given?

Question

Whenever i go to any web site and gives download comand, my system automatically shutsdown and reboots
Any body can advice me how to resolve above problem

sounds like a virus to me. scan your computer with an up to date virus scanner. if you don't have one go to www.commandondemand.com and use their free scanner. it won't remove the virus, but you can do that yourself. if nothing else, you at least know the problem.
