Ya, and sometimes it's that little demon on your shoulder.

That is not true, we are a temple for the Holy Spirit but you have no guarantee of the Holy Spirit. the voice you are speaking about is the voice of conscience which allows you to make a judgement of the practical will which tell you to do good avoid evil. That judgement can either be right or wrong depending on the formation of your conscience, if your conscience is mal formed chances are you will do some immoral thing however if it is well formed, formed to the truth chances are your chose will be righteous and upright.

My inner voice is nothing more than introspection. It's not a spirit, it's literally nothing more than some chemicals and electrons zipping around on a neural network template. It's no different than an adaptive anti-virus program that watches how everything [including itself] is running and makes decisions based on that, even if it means shutting itself down because it seems affected.

A conscience is to guide you to do the right thing.

Not everyone has the holy spirit of God, only born-again believers have this.

And to prove it to be correct, how many times have you said to your self,Damn I should have listen to myself? many.I too say that is your Holy Spirit and once you realize that you will not go wrong.to Darlindan I believe we all have the spirit whether we choose to use it or not is optional.Without the Holy Spirits presence we could not be reborn,it's always there waiting for us to call upon it for help in change, some choose not to use it and deviate towards evil.but to be reborn you must seek out God and seek change,it's within us all.I tell my friends who are still caught up in the world to keep praying, even in your sin and when you are truly ready to change your life God is waiting to help, not cure you instantly, but help you change yourself.I speak from my own experience and I know God and the Holy Spirit are always there ,it is we who leave their realm and lose sight.

Having a holy spirit is just a nice way of saying you're a nutjob.

Only God is Holy, and only God can impart Holiness. What you may experience in your conscious mind has nothing to do with God.

So, what is your question?
Isaiah 30:21 And your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
