Take a sample to the chemist and they will do a test for you, they usually charge around a fiver, i did this 3 times for the wife and they all came back posotive and now i have 3 kids, 12, 10 and 7

hand a sample into GP takes 2/3 days for result. ask for a white top bottle

Clear Blue is the one they use in the hospitals (UK). I think it's the best.
