christmas didn't exist until Jesus was born and Jesus wan't born DEC. 25
it is just an arbitrary date chosen to celebrate it

No, Herod wanted census' to be taken and in order to do so everybody had to return to their birth place to register. Bethlahem was filled with people and there wasn't any place for them to go. No one knew that Mary was about to give birth to Jesus or they would have had the best. One Innkeeper feeling sorry for the couple offered them his stable which is believed to have been a room below the living area. I'm sure they usede clean hay and all. You have to realize people were more primitive then. The inn's didn't have beds like we think and there weren't seperate rooms. It was a big room usually and people laid their mats down.

They had to go for the census but, it is interesting that people today still do not have room for Mary and Jesus. They are too full of themselves

Jesus wasn't born in the winter. The date, Dec. 25, was assigned at a later time.

Nope, not it at all. Actually, Jesus was probably born closer to March/April. Christmas is just an agreed upon date for worldly views.
