Being a photographer, I personally find the word usage of "Camwhore" an insult/offence. You being a photographer, what do you think?

Personally, I treat discriminating words or phrases as any other normal English dictionary words or phrases. For example, a gaggle of girls or nerds or geeks. I feel that there's nothing wrong with all those words. Camwhore - yeah! I'm a camwhore too. I love taking photographs. Hey, I don't care what people think about me because they don't know how to appreciate photography but I do. Don't be let down by those words. Look on the bright side.

I take tons of pictures, but prefer to not take loads of them of myself. I'm not offended at all by the term, but it doesn't refer to me.
