Someone once said Nature has been designed in such a manner that it pleases you.I agree. Its when I am surrounded by beauty of the universe I feel joy.Sunlight, flowers, cool breeze, smiling caring and good people. Its these little beauties and courtesies plus also seeing the welfare of my famliy myself and others that brings real joy.Helping the poor and needy feeding animals.Acts of genuine kindness.Loving people. There are too many joys to count yes there is grief too but how would you know joy until you experience grief as well.Life has difficulties but keeping your head high, praying and working honestly has a joy of its own.

I believe that there a things or material possesions that may bring us happiness for a season, But Joy can be fulfilled through Jesus Christ. The Joy He brings sustains you and doesn't waiver. We could have things that brings us happiness but later on we're going to want something else, and throughout life this whole process keeps repeating itself. Then one day we're happy with it, then the next we're bored with it, then the next we're sad with it...Therefore it never brings Joy......But I said all of that to say this....The Word of God and having a relationship and being in fellowship with Christ and the Father brings me Joy. Through out my life that is what I have learned through experience. I've had many things...money, girls, cars, etc....But none of it gave me Joy..and was never able to fill what that void in my life. But when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior the void in my life was filled.

Waking up in the morning to my little girl poking me with a cheerio.
Watching punk rocker looking teenagers give up their seat to a senior citizen.
Smiling at someone I pass on the street and for them to actually smile back.
Seeing people give with no thought of returns
The list goes on...and on.
Watching a 4 year old hold the door open for his grandmother without being asked.
Hearing my kids laugh, for no apparent reason at all.

It brings me joy when I am around other people and I feel that I have a purpose and a connection with those around me. I am thinking of when I am laughing and visiting with friends or relatives.

As i look decrease back and picture and "experience" that excitement back, I be conscious that it really is continually after I have both heard from the Lord to do a particular job, or I have led someone to acquire Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives and then stumbled on that in addition they want to go on with the Lord and be water baptised and attend Church and so on. i visit't describe the astounding inner excitement that brings to my soul. It in basic terms makes me experience like the cat that were given the cream - i visit't stop smiling and experience so excited and energised interior my being. once even as this befell i quite felt the Lord say, "the excitement of the Lord is your capacity" (Nehemiah 8:10) and that quite became the icing on the cake! there is not something to judge in my humble opinion.

My friends, some of my relatives, my job (especially the human contact, since I'm a teacher), listening to some things on the radio, reading, learning about languages, discussing ideas, meeting interesting people, spending much of my free time here...

The smile of a child. A workaday victory. Finally finishing that project that has been dogging me all year. Giving my mom a gift or two or three. Helping out somebody who really needs it.
It is more blessed to give than to receive. When all is said and done I want it known that I would be one who gives.

Making homeless bums fight me for money. They ask for money and I figure that I need to get something out of the exchange as well. I offer them $100 for 5 minutes of their time. If they win, they get my wallet. If they lose, they still get $100. This brings much joy to my weekends.
