Are you nursing, it's normal to not get a period at all the entire time you are breastfeeding. If not I wouldn't worry about it, it hasn't been that long. It will come back soon enough. If you are really worried see your OB.

If you are breastfeeding, it is possible that you won't see your period until after the baby starts sleeping through the night or longer. If not, go with your instincts. If you think it is abnormal for you, then it is. Don't doubt yourself b/c you know your body better than anyone else. The hormones do take some time to settle back into rhythm after pregnancy so it could be normal for you to not have had a period, but if you are in doubt, I wouldn't sit on it. Have it checked.
Be Blessed

I never had a normal period till 2 months after the baby was born. And some people take a little longer but if you do think there is any chance you could be preg i would take a test to make sure. And sometimes it takes a little while for it to get back to normal especailly if it is you first baby.

First of all congrats on the new baby. I have a two year old myself. After I had my son it took a while before I began to have "normal" periods again (about 2 months). Your body still has extra hormones from when you were pregnant so it'll take a while to get back on track. Are you breast feeding? That also holds up your cycle as well. Check out babycenter.com. They have great articles about this topic. Hope this helps

Are you breastfeeding? In that case it is very normal if your period doesn't come back right away (after both my children it took about 12-14 months(!) and I didn't mind at all...).
If not, it still can be normal, because your body has to adjust to not being pregnant anymore. Irregular periods are part of that. Still, if you don't trust it, buy a pregnancy test.

If you are breast feeding then you may not have a period until you stop. If you are bottle feeding it may take up to 3 months for your body to regulate and for you to start you period again. If your having sex just be safe. It is very hard on the body to get pregnant again so soon after giving birth.

This is normal. It can take over 2 months to get your periods back after having a baby. If you have not had one by the end of November, you should consult your ob/gyn.

If you're breastfeeding, it's normal to not have a period after delivering a baby. Are you breastfeeding? Could also be your hormones trying to get back to normal after being pregnant.

well if your nursing then you may not get a period for a long time. It stops your period. If you are not nursing than you may just be adjusting to a new cycle.

If your breastfeeding it could be a few months before you start back up but you should go see your doc anyway.
