It depends on how the time expiration was implemented. After expiration, sometimes if you set your computer time back to a time during the valid period, then start the program, then change the time back, it'll work. Other times you can locate the registry key where the time exipration value lies. Other times it's simply too difficult to figure it out. Sometimes it's as simple as reinstalling the trial software.

You can always buy the software :)

Answer is different for each piece of software. They are always finding new ways of tracking the expiration date so that people can not steal the software by getting around it. Often they will make them so that if you change your time and date to keep the software working, it will immediately expire.

So best answer is to BUY the software, rather than to try to steal it.
