Sex crimes occur when a somebody imposes themself on another -- against the other person's will -- for their own gratification.
Sex crimes include, but are not limited to rape (heterosexual or homosexual), pedophilia and other paraphilias (behaviours commonly relating to children, non-consenting individuals, objects, sadism, masochism), providing pornography to a minor, and other deviant sexual behaviors which adversely affect others.

Any crime committed for sexual gratification.
This would include peeping toms, touching or grabbing of another person's sexual organs, flashing or displaying sexual organs, forcing contact with sexual organs, rape (penetration of another person's body by any foreign object), assault with sexual overtones, and murder with sexual overtones.
It also includes possession of, selling, or receiving pictures of a sexual nature involving juveniles. Showing or selling pornography to juveniles. And even sexual harassment at work, depending on the circumstances.
