You need more details. Who has custody? When was he diagnosed with this and by what kind of Dr.? CPS wouldn't really be able to do much, however if all you are saying is true you could present all of this to a judge and have it become an order of the court that he must give the required med. If he continues to fail to and he has custody, he could loose custody to you. But before I really give a good answer you need more details.

No, a newborn (a minor) has no legal authentic to refuse. the youngster might want to be forcefully bumped off; and absolutely everyone else interfering might want to be arrested to face offender expenses. If CPS desires a court order relies upon on the circumstances. If the youngster is dealing with the prospect of an coming near near probability then CPS can do an emergency eliminating that's non everlasting, then there's a listening to to go back to a call if the eliminating turns into everlasting or no longer.

First of all are you and the child's father divorced? Who has custody or is it joint custody? If you're NOT divorced then why is it only up to his father to give him his medications?
CPS really can't do anything just because you complain. If the child's father is doing something that will harm the child the DOCTOR must report it. So you need to speak with the doctor about the problem.

Do you have shared custody of the child? If so, can't you consult your custody lawyer and have the father ordered to give meds. He is seriously hampering the development of your child. Can the school help out with CPS? Maybe if they get on board with you then CPS will be more likely to investigate. How about pediatrician?

II would forget the cps group and go straight to the school principal have them check with the child each and every day to make sure they had their meds before classes begin the man will do it trust me nobody likes to have to pick up a child every day until they get the treatment they need to be able to understand what is going on in the class room. Teachers are a great partner if you give them all the facts they will follow up on them when and if they can. My sister is a principal and she would chew himup and spit them out for not taking care of bussiness such as meds to help them hear better.

Your story is a little confusing, but if I am comprehending what you typed. Your ex is refusing to give your son his meds and cps does nothing about it? First, if he has physical custody, contact a lwyer and have him question the placement of the child back with you if that is possible. Second, if you have not already, tlak with the child's principal or teachers and see if they cna be of any help, then if push comes to shove, consult your own attorney! Good luck!

First thing I would suggest is get the pediatrician involved.
If he files a complaint, or supports your complaint, CPS cannot ignore it.
The child is being made to suffer and the purpose of CPS is to help protect him. But you being the mother, have an obligation to make sure that he is protected from all harm.
I would also suggest you get in touch with a child advocacy group if possible in you area.
Good Luck.

you must not have been dealing with cps for very long. I am NOT surprised by this and I am sorry that you have to deal with the department. It is not easy. I wish I could help you but I still have not found any way (after about 20 years) to get any one to listen to me about cps. OR even get cps to listen to me about the REAL reasons I have been reported. (23+) times.
CPS WORKERS have a hard job but they sure could not see the truth if it jumped up and bit them on the nose.
There are people out there that use cps for revenge tactics. This is why those of us who actually deserve to keep our kids are not allowed to. AND THE REASON PEOPLE WHO SHOULD HAVE THEIR KIDS TAKEN ARE NOT TAKEN

if the father has custody cps doesn't care what you say, they think you are trying to pull something. You need your childs Doctor to talk to cps.
