I don't kiss anyone on the mouth except my wife. These are all the people I kiss on the cheek: son below the age of 6 or 7 (if older they move to the hug category, daughters, mom, grandmother, aunts, female friends. People that just get hugs with no kiss: dad, granfather, uncles and very close buddys (male friends). Most others will fall into the handshake category... If you don't get a handshake you'd be lucky if you get a wave.

You use the word-phase "kissing IN the mouth". There's a lot of difference kissing someone gently ON the lips and IN the mouth. To a kid, but not a boy or girl after the age of puberty.

NO. The only person I am comfortable kissing on the mouth is my spouse. Other relatives or friends can get a kiss on the cheek, kids also get a kiss on the forehead, but I am not comfortable with mouth kissing anyone but my husband.

It's really not healthy for the baby for anyone to kiss him/her on the mouth, because of germs. but, of course plenty of people do it. but I believe after a certain age(after a year old or so), that they should not be kissed on the mouth.

people have become to wary. if a father kisses his son on the lips that should be fine if it because the father loves his child. obviously as the child gets older you wouldnt do this anymore anyway, but fathers should not be disscouraged from loving there kids.

Kissing babies on the mouth it's not a big deal but no way it should last for too long.

Kissing your kids on the mouth is a culture thing. If you don't feel comfortable-don't do it.
In European countries this is acceptable. In America it could be misconstrued....
Do what feels right to you and your kids.
