Contact your local Social Security office. There are papers to fill out and hoops to jump through. It might be that they will ask that the child be tested by an selected doctor. Also its important that you have all the medical documentation with you at the first meeting is will save loads of time. Good Luck

ADHD is not a disability but a rambuctious child or a non obeying child for whatever reasons...
This is a word used to be able to give your child a medication that can cause bad side effects. There are no tests and no cures...sorry but if you do your research (as I have two children of my own ) you will see that it's true.
I HIGHLY recommend watching the below video...and if so inclined go to the website I list below and get the DVD (I recently watched it...and no matter your beliefs I personally would want someone like me to at least show me the other side of the story ..Sincere best wishes

There is most likely nothing at all wrong with your child. If he actually has a disability that would prevent him from attending school or working when he gets old enough, then he should apply for disablilty. My son was "diagnosed" with ADHD and he lives a perfectly normal life. This is an affliction made up by psychologists to explain bad behavior in children. There was no ADHD when parents were allowed to spank their kids.

Fight the diagnosis if you can, particularly bipolar. It's easily misdiagnosed and can look al ot like ADD in kids. You really do not want him on the bipolar meds.
