I agree with Jen its a great way you put it,but at the same time its for you to show such people the true way by practising good and being good thus preaching by example.I know love for animals comes naturally but by a little training we can begin to love even those we dont like.Have you see Le Miserable a movie by Leam Neeson. In it there is a theif who comes disguised to a priests house although the priest shows him great kindness and hospitality the theif still steals from him and hurts him and his wife. The theif escapes a little while later the police catch the theif, and bring the theif to the priest with his stolen goods, the priest instead of rebuking the theif acknowledges to the police that he had given these goods as a gift to the theif and thus spares him.He does an act of kindness for even a person who hurts him,the movie goes on to show that one kind act reformed the theif and made a great man out of him who did much good for others. Its a must watch movie great lesson in it.In short if you repay even an injury with kindness you never know how much good that might bring about for others in this life. Its a principle stated in the Holy Quran too,the meaning of which is repay even an injury with kindness and the person who had enmity with you by your beautiful conduct would become a trusted friend.Try it it works in the majority of cases, there might be exceptions but generally it is true.

Although I feel they shouldn't, many people do treat pets better that humans. I feel that maybe it is because pets are more appreciative than people. They don't complain and make you feel like what you do for them isn't enough. Also, pets are loyal and give unconditional love. If people were more considerate and loving and appreciative when someone does something nice for them more people would do nice things.

Because our pets are part of our family. I dont have children therefore, i treat my animals as my kids. They are alwyas happy to see us when we come home, and never start an arguement with us. No matter what kind of mood we are in, they are always there for us. People tend to irritate me and i rather be around animals sometimes.

'cause animals don't have much other than instinct to go on. humans have intelligence and intellect... they can think things through and they have a choice not to piss off another human. animals are completely ignorant. here's an example.
---scenario 1, after work---
a man opens the door, announces his arrival, and his dog jolts off the couch after a long day of licking whatever area animals lick, and proceeds to give his master kisses on his face. the man is ignorant, but nevertheless happy to see his pet as much as his pet is happy to see him. note that just yesterday they had a fight about the electricity bill, and have already made up. rainbows and suns with happy faces ensue.
---scenario 2, after work---
a man opens the door and announces his arrival to his family. the dog has been dead for some time now due to obvious family neglect. the son, who just so happens to be emo, is sitting on the couch, cutting himself mercilessly. the daughter is wailing on about how she needs new tampons, and the wife is in the bedroom with the man's best friend. note that yesterday this family had a simple discussion about the electricity bill; nothing major. the end.
(now before you report me, just note i'm going for satire here. something for you guys to laugh about.)
and this isn't entirely true in every case, for instance: i'm assuming you're a parent, and if you're not you can imagine you are. if you're potty training your kid and s/he lets loose in his / her diaper, do you smack it relentlessly and shove it's nose in it? exactly.

I treat animals with more respect and care than humans for several reasons. The main reason is humans are mean and hateful creatures. Animals have been able to exist on this earth for millions of years without mass killings. Humans are like parasites.

I believe it has to do with that animals love unconditionally. They dont ask for much and even when we dont give them everything possible they still love us. They are always excited to see you. It also has to do with knowing that they cant speak and tell you whats on their mind. Its almost like having a child. We have a special bond with animals and there really is no one reason we care for them so much!

We choose our pets and they don't change their personality daily. It seems like people act differently moment to moment and we respond to them accordingly. My dog is the same happy guy in the morning as he is in the afternoon and at night. I also don't demand as much from him as I do my friends and family, so he doesn't disappoint me.

people lie and cheat and steal, deceive and push your limits.pets love you unconditionally, and expect food and a warm place to sleep, not much else.people expect way too much and usually are two faced and very ungrateful,i love my pets far more than any human.
