get her to assist with the shopping & introduce her to all the beautifully coloured fruits, be really positive & let her choose the ones she likes the look of & then have an afternoon "fruit party" where you sit down together and try all your fruit (throw a few lovely treats in too) make it a special time/fun...do this each week and explore where the fruit comes from and describe how it tastes, grow your own fruit if its possible so she gets involved that way! it will take time but be patient!! good luck xx

My little girl is 2 and she eats everything I eat, she has done for ages. She loves greek style or natural yogurt with a little bit of honey and then just cut up different fruits and add it to it. I give her a banana with her breakfast, we have half each and when she eats an apple because she gags on the skin I core and peel it and she eats it whole like a ball. If you sit there and eat the same i'm sure she will want to copy or try.
Good luck.

my son was one of the pickiest eaters in history. i had a pediatrician once tell me that if he ate yogurt 3 times a day 7 days a week he was getting every bit of nutrients he needed. have you tried adding fresh fruit to the yogurt or maybe have some type of dipping. kids love condiments perhaps a nonfat or lowfat coolwhip or whip cream. might be worth a shot. the only fruit my son would eat were strawberries and bananas.

Give her some plain yogurt and cut up some fruit. Let her gradually see you put it in the yogurt. Let her watch you eat fruit. All these things will get her to try it.

Have you tried mixing strained fruits into oatmeal, rice cereal or even vanilla ice cream? Fruit juice popsicles may work better. Think about the textures, perhaps milk shakes or smoothies may work at this time. Later on you can introduce more "finger food" sizes of fruits.
She just may not be ready to chew or the texture of the skin, etc. is not her comfort level right now.

You can try cooking some fruits down into a sauce & using it as a topping for pancakes/waffles. Some fruits like strawberries & blueberries are available frozen without any added sugar & all year long. Good Luck.

Cut the fruit up really small, or just pruee it. Cut the fruit into silly shapes. Put it in Jello, put some whip cream on them. Strawberries are really sweet, try them. Or just wait till she's three.

take her to the supermarket with you and let her choose the fruit...it can be that she likes the color or something. get her to help you whilst you cut up a few different fruits like a kiwi and some strawberries. chopping up and digging into a bowl of fruit instead of a bag of crisps can be cool when you're 2.

Make smoothies for her. Just add some fruit, yogurt and apple juice to a blender and tell her its a milkshake. It worked great for me when my children were small and now they all love fruit!
