Coconuts have a very high allergy risk, the same as all nuts. If you are allergic to nuts, there is about 80% you could be allergic to coconuts.

I'm allergic to all nuts as well, but coconut has never given me a problem. Coconuts are in fact a fruit, with no nut relation.
