My boyfriend went out of town on business (military) and called one time yesterday around 3p.m. I did not hear from him anymore when he said he would call me after dinner. I called around 10:30p.m. and he did not answer, should I be upset with him?

Is this the first time that he's said that he would call and didn't? If yes, then if he has a decent reason, I'd let it slide. If it's happened before and he doesn't have an amazing reason, then I'd be pissed because that is not acceptable for a guy to leave you waiting by the phone. If he says he's going to call, he'd better call!!!

Sounds like you are already upset with him. Give him the benefit of the doubt. He was maybe sleeping, working, etc...
Don't be a control freak. Why did he have to call you 2 times? Are you that insecure?
Rethink your relationship if his not calling is bothering you that much.

I would be upset. I would be worried that something happened. I have an overactive imagination, and I imagine the worst when my boyfriend is travelling and doesn't call. He doesn't get it, yet if he is calling me and I don't answer, he'll call and call and call, then HE gets mad at me! Go figure!

I can understand your anticipation about this but I would cut him a bit of slack. Maybe he got called away for a military situation by his supervisor or something. If he doesn't call TODAY, then, by all means, be angry.

Is he really your boyfriend? Cos if he is, you should know by now how he is. If he keeps his word or not. If not, would he have a good reason for not doing so?
