Interesting question.... but I wonder how the answer could possibly be worse than the CONVERSE?

They would just cease to exist but what if they live as though there were no God and die and find out there is?

I would guess nothing. Just like those who don't believe in a God and that God doesn't exist. But what happens to those who don't believe and God DOES exist??
Perhaps believing in a God that doesn't exist would seem foolish, but I have faith that there is a God and if I am wrong, at least I found something to comfort me through sad times, turn to during difficult times, and have faith in during hopeless times.

What happens to people that don't believe than die and find out he does exist? And all you had to do is live by some morrals and be a better contributor to society. Sounds like a win, win situation.

Um, if there's no deity, when they die, that's the end of 'em.
They'd never find out there was no god, because their consciousness would be gone before they could make that realization.

Well, I'd be just Dead. Period, right? However, I would have been remembered for someone who loved all, was always kind, always went out of her way to help someone spiritually, & emotionally, I didn't give in to wickedness, and had peace. Have a Great Day

Well if he doesnt exist and you die...how do you find out that he does not exist ...because you are DEAD.

If He didn't exist, people who died wouldn't find out anything. They would simply cease to exist. I would worry a lot more about those who don't believe He exists, and then find themselves standing before Him in judgment.

Well, most atheists believe not only "no god" but no afterlife. So if you don't exist, you can't "know" anything.
But I always thought it would be interesting if there was a god who only rewarded those with enough courage to question his existance :)
