I would say that the cat on Fancy Feast commercials is a white Persian cat. On this website you can see more pictures of them to determine if it is the same cat.

I believe it is a white Persian, although not all white Persians have green eyes that is a very distinct cat. It would kind of be a 1 in a million chance to find a similar cat.

It looks very much like a Persian. It's got a flattened face and cobby body and long, poofy fur, so it probably is. Might not necessarily be pure bred though. His face isn't quite as "smooshed" as some. You can end up with a Persian-esque "mutt" cat. I have one and I know he ain't got no pedigree! :)
By the way, did you know that, genetically, that cat is not actually white? A white cat with "normal" color eyes (eg: green, yellow, orange, etc, but NOT blue) is actually a colored cat with one very big white spot. The gene, called the white-spotting gene, can cause anything from a colored cat with one white hair, a half and half cat, or a "pure" white with one colored hair. You can tell by the eyes. If you looked carefully, you would probably find a colored hair or two that would tell you the cat's true color. A white cat with blue eyes, however, is entirely different, genetically.

That is a white persian cat, most will have green eyes,(green is the most common eye color) but some may have blue or brown/gold).

I am not sure if I am thinking of the same commercial - but recall a fluffy cat with pushed in face? this is a PERSIAN....

Persian I believe. But they are a very unhealthy breed. They have trouble breathing and such.
