Good morning David. He washed their feet to show he was being Obidient to His father who was His lord. That is why he said neither he that is sent is greater than he that sent him.

Same reason that I must dress as a PIRATE to teach in our church!

It is the Church of the FSM! May you be blessed by His Noodly Presence!

Yes, you who are blessed may enter, and gaze upon the mighty works in a search for the great FSM on google.com.

The Book of FSM is real, and available, as the mighty congregation expands. In Brittain, on the Census forms, we are not represented, except for the write-in just like in the USA!

But, the Jedi are a recognized Religion! Due to popular demand, of course... Next Census, the Church of the FSM will be a seperate and integrated line you can simply check off!

Yes, We are accepted by major teaching institutions as the PROPER response to both Creationism, and to Evolution!

Hey, there has got to be some kind of intelligence behind it all!

And do you think HE cares what words we use to note His presence? And, we kill each other over what color is His hair?

or if someone doesn't say Allah Akbar! or kneel 5 times each day? Or eat fish on Friday?

I think you are all daft, and should take up nurturing orphans, feeding the poor, and healing the sick. Get back to basics!!!

Love each other, do unto others as you would have done to you! All the rest is commentary and argument!

David Israel,
You are a Christian. I do know that you seem to have some psychological disorders and therefore may not be capable of hearing dissent. Nonetheless, I must tell you david that I think this evil and deceptive form of missionizing you are perpetrating is degrading Christianity and the good, normal christians who practice it.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess learning basic hebrew wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity.

The custom at the time was for the host to have his servants wash the feet of his guests (they wore sandals and their feet got really dirty walking around). Jesus washed His disciples' feet to show He came into this world as as servant, humble, loving.

Hebrew writings often referred to Feet or Foot when talking about male sex organs. It was just a polite way of discussing them without being vulgar.

Washing the feet traditionally refers to a common oral sexual act performed upon the male anatomy

You just answered your question, brother! He showed us how to be humble, yes, but He also showed us that He came to wash our dirty sins away. The feet were a very unclean thing at the time (just imagine!) washing someone's feet was a job for the lowely servent. Jesus showed us what He was there to do in that act. Praise God!!!!

Yeah for Messianic Jews, you know some of the best life changing sermons I have ever heard have been from Messianic Jewish ministers. The Messiah has come I really wish more Jews would come to salvation and more Christians would realize the foundation of their faith and their heritage.

Much Blessings

Why does every one of your questions have to contain the phrase, "I'm a Jew for Jesus!" or "I'm a Jew for Messiah Jesus!" WE GET IT.
