skipping..school? that sounds like a problem i would be in. seriously, either decide right now whether you want to try to make up some bs lie and hope they believe it(which in some cases works), or just be completely honest with them from the start. even if you decide to be honest, you can always leave out some details too.haha

They will find out sooner or later. It would be better coming from you first. Deal with it before the truancy officer comes looking for you, and drags you to court (my experience). I had reasons why I was skipping school, and I'm sure you do too. I regret my actions now as an adult. Stay in school if at all possible!! Tell your parents, be honest, and open up a dialogue with them...just based on my personal experience. You are so close to being an adult yourself...and they probably know that more than you know that about yourself. Deal with the "why" you skip school, not what the cops caught you doing...

If this is a ticket you have to pay and you don't have the ability to pay, then yes, I would imagine you'd have to tell them. If this isn't the first time you've skipped, then your parents may be held liable, and it'd be better if they heard it from you first, rather than the police. I would suggest having an adult you trust there with you when you tell your parents. I would also look into why you were skipping, as your parents are going to be asking Why. The more truthful you are and the more info you have is going to go a long way with them.

In conversation just ask them if they ever skipped school when they were kids.. let them share any stories.. and they tell them BTW.. .I did and got caught... but then you should be on level ground with them.. because they did it... just about everyone has .. I hope they have lol

well tell them teh truth and except your consacuinses,you might be nervos ot do so but justsay mom dad what i did was wrong and illnever do it again and if i do so may i be punished to teh fullist excnt of the thing ,ok hear i go i skiped school ,so there. so do it so you wont be haunted for the rest of your life .

Just tell them now and deal with the consequences. Trust me, it will be a lot better if you do it, than if they find out from someone else.
