Do you think we "pay" for our actions in one manner or another? Like letting someone out in traffic or letting someone go in front of you in line at the grocery store results in good karma and hurting someone or sleeping with your boss results in bad?
And do you think fate brings people and their actions together, or is it all just free will?
I don't think there's any plan anymore. I think we all fly by the seat of our pants, every day. When we die, it ends. Like a candle being blown out. No afterlife, no heaven or hell, just the end.

Watch your own thinking, you will see how it produces your life circumstances. Yes karma, cause and effect are very real as long as you are Seperate and apart from GOD. you can rise above this state. see www.geocities.com/mihirig/siddhayoga.htm

I believe in both.

Putting good energy into the universe by doing good things not only makes a person feel good, but it opens a person up to good things coming back. Eventually. It's not always immediate.

Fate is a bit trickier. I believe that everyone is fated to arrive at a certain destination. What that destination is, who knows? The road a person takes on that journey is left to free will.

As always, these are only my beliefs and opinions. Maybe one day, my mind will change. For now, though, I'll just sit back and enjoy the trip.

absolutely, yes.

though on a larger scale than you seem to be realizing.

and no, theres no such thing as coincidence, and "fate" does not counter free will.

>>"When we die, it ends. Like a candle being blown out. No afterlife, no heaven or hell, just the end."<<

you have the option to feel that way.

but personally I know with more certainty than I have that there is GRAVITY that you are incorrect.

God has a plan for each life. He is in complete control of all things. We have a choice to follow Him or follow Satan. He never made anyone a robot. He wants us to come on our own. There is no such thing as fate or karma. It is all God. There is a heaven and there is a hell. You need to make your choice where you will spend eternity. People want to play games, and Satan likes to blind people to the truth. Open us your heart and see the truth for what it is. Satan is the father of lies. He was a prideful angel that wanted to be better than God. He was the most beautiful angel in heaven. That is why we need to humble ourselves before the Lord and ask for forgiveness.

Not in the conventional sense.

I do refer to karma... but I don't think its so much the rewarding for doing good and punishing for doing wrong that other people suggest..... Rather its a matter of circumstance following attitude.... that bad karma is apparent in negative self-attitude and that good karma is apparent in positive self-attitude..... and thus our self-opinions and fates are closely interlinked.
That is to say that negative things will befall those who see naught but negativity in themselves, while positive things will befall those who see naught but positivity in themselves.

And THIS kind of karma..... I eat.
Yes. I eat karma.

I have seen consistantly through my own existence that I tend to neutralise people.... consuming their positive and negative karma both. Depressed people I talk to tend to come to terms with their self-esteem issues and gradually cheer up a bit.... Overly happy people tend to gradually become sobered out around me and less prone to sudden glee. And the whole while, I end up taking on the effects to myself that I absorbed from them.
That is to some extent why I had to divorce my wife... She is bipolar, but it softened massively during my time with her.... She originally was extremely miserable when depressed and downright uncontrollable when on the highs... but she calmed down totally.... and contrariwise I became far more unstable, prone to being morbidly miserable and then suddenly excitable.... and it completely weirded out our relationship.

I've done it to other people since... plenty... though usually to a lesser extent per person.
I've stopped at least 4 emo kids from cutting just by spending time around them, though it made me rather miserable to do so.

I believe in true Karma which is you create your own reality, either positively or negatively. I don't necessarily believe in fate but I do believe there are no coincidences.

yup.. i do believe in fate,if u can't tell what's gonna happen the next minute then u're subjected to the unknown..u can't control something u don't have information about...things just don't happen randomly..our creation and existence isn't random,it's all planned.yes we have free will, and we can freely take decisions, but that's all in our little circle of knowlege..the present..what acually happens is the destiny or fate...so even if u don't beleive in it,u can't change it coz u don't see it coming(u can react and take decisions according to it though depending on ur current information..and so on)
