I wear my wedding ring on my right hand. My husband is from Eastern Europe, and it was something that he asked of me, to keep on with this tradition from there. Turns out that when my mom got married (Eastern European but married in Canada), her ring was put on her right hand, but she later changed it to her left because every one else wore it on their left hand.
It has actually been nice to be different, and more people notice the rings because I am right handed. In our city, and in our circle of friends and at church, there are lots of people from my husband's ethnic background who also wear the rings on their right hands.

You wear the wedding ring on your left hand. The wedding ring goes on first and then the engagement ring. Although some people choose not to wear the engagement ring, the wedding ring still goes on the fourth finger on the eft hand (the finger next to the pinky).

Ring finger of left hand. The reason for this is because it's on the same side as your heart. Some widow(er)s will wear the ring on their right hand if they are looking to remarry but still want to respect their deceased spouse.
