Try checking out your phone book and then calling several. Also see what kind of waiting lists they have, since you may have to wait for a spot. I am in south-western Ontario and for my care it is about $25/day for our 4 year old. Mind you, this is a smaller city, and the care is in-home (but through an agency that also has a centre), so there is max only 5 kids anyways, which is nice. I imagine day care in Ottawa would be higher, but I don't know for sure.
