This question is for believers and nonbelievers. People of all religions, doctrines, spiritual thought, etc. Who or what is GOD to you? How is it you feel HE is guiding you? What is it that makes SHE feel as if you have a purpose opposed from the covetted direction of mankind?

And for nonreligious people who answer. Any answer is welcome. Why you believe? Why you don't believe? How you came to your conclusion and so forth?

PEACE!

Hey Zekie, I always looked to life as a big game of chess. Depending how you view the game(my favorite). You can be a piece on the board, an on looker, observer, or have thought to create a majesty as such. Even the pawns can take out the king. The most spiritual game created thus far that I know of.

I messed up writing the last question in my first paragraph of details. Pardon me. But you can figure out what I meant. Basically, what makes you feel as if SHE has a different purpose for you that is not directed to the covets of mankind? PEACE!

Something is real. The earth is real.

God is nothing to me. Why? because he's fake. First Off - NO ONE can say they want a planet with wtare and people and animals and plants and BOOM! have it.

Secondly, Mother Nature gives me everything I need.

Thirdly, I'm not going to let a MAN written BOOK run my life. Especially one that is full of deciet and anger and contradictions.
The book states quite a few things that have been proven as false. How on earth did the guys that wrote the book miss 60 million some odd years? Why would anyone want to live by someone that says something is wrong, and then does it himself?

Not I.

A Big Question requiring a lot of space to write. I personally don't see you reading a long answer. So I will be brief..........
When I was an atheist He was nothing but trouble. When I became a follower He became understanding and hope. The old saying among believers is "the light got turned on" It still stands today.

"How is it you feel" When you have a relationship with someone and not just know of someone you know the thoughts and views of that someone by communication. I know of the president but I don't have a relationship with him. With God, I know Him and have a relationship with HIM

Simply put God is like the father i never had. As i grow older i can see the wisdom in the life he has chosen for me and the effects of the things he has done for me. I realize he will only give me what i need because at heart i truly do not know what i need or want. What i think will make me happy may make me even more miserable and i rely on him to help me find my way although i do not know the road. I love and respect God like a father figure, i also talk to God and ask for his wisdom, patients, strength, and support. Without God i am nothing. I am a wandering spirit lost in a world full of wandering spirits. peace to you.

God is the heavenly father who has created all of us. He guides me by answering my prayers and giving me advice through them. I am not a religious person and I do not believe in have a church membership, however I do believe in God in a spiritual level. I feel this way b/c I never really liked to have beliefs and doctrine shoved down my throat, most of that was from the times I went through private school hearing religions being compared against each other, it really never appealed to me. I believe in hearing he word from God and not hearing it from a priest or a pastor as a supposed medium of the spirit of God.

I don't believe because there is no evidence for or against. In that, I'm agnostic. However, I take it a step further and realize that the universe can come about without the need for a creator, or with a creator. So I apply occams razor, remove the deific hypothesis, and so I'm a strong atheist.

"God" is the Cosmos, everything and everyone who ever existed, the source of all. The Cosmos as a whole is intelligent in a very real sense but impersonal, nonjudgmental, noninterfering and nonintervening. Those who look for "God" externally will identify "him" in religious writings from ancient strangers, but the truth is that the real "God" is within everyone and everything.

God is a Spirit. He has always been and will for ever be. He is our heavenly Father, who is loving, kind, gracious, and slow to anger, and be thankful that he is, because we as humans tend to repeatedly mess up. I know God is real because there is no way that a man wrote the bible. It had to be inspired by something. And the writers of the bible say it was God.

It is something that is above all else...i dont really believe in a christian God or whatever...but i think that im somewhat spiritual...i like to meditate rather than go to a congregation...smiling and taking a deep breathe of fresh air lets me know that there is "something" else out ther....who knows what....im pretty sure no one really does...just live life to the fullest, smile, and try as much as possible to be happy - later

happy all-hallows eve

God is a real person and has a personal name like the rest of us. I call him Jehovah (read Psalm 83:18). If you read the Bible in its entirety and meditate on what you're reading, you will have a sense of who He is as a person. He has helped me get through my father's death from cancer. He has provided me with a job, clothing, food, and a roof over my head. If you really want to get close to God, you need to pray to Him through Jesus name everyday, not only when we're having problems, but thanking Him for each day we live.
