Diets are okay and everything, but they can decrease your metabolism, causing your body to conserve fat. What you really need is some long, slow aerobic exercise. Go for at least 12-15 minutes or more per day, and don't stop doing this once you get rid of the weight you want to get rid of. Another thing to keep in mind is that weight really isn’t the problem; fat is the problem. Weight and fat are NOT the same thing. Muscle actually weighs almost 7 times as much as fat. So don’t pay too much attention to your weight; instead pay attention to how thin you look and how good you feel.

You need a diet that puts your love of junk food into the equation. You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well. It doesn't force you to eat what you don't like, or turn down what you love.

Don't deny yourself the foods you like. Cut back. Any time you deny yourself the pleasure foods, find replacements, or at least reduce the amounts you eat. I hear it all the time from people trying to lose weight. The main issue is not the food, it's the amount and quantity and type of food we eat. Find some new high fiber, low fat replacements or substitutes. And cut back the quantity of the food.
I travel to asia alot and watch the locals eat. They are thin for a reason. They eat a whole lot more vegetables and they don't eat near the quantity Americans and Europeans eat. If I eat like they do, I lose 5 pounds in one week. And the heat in Thailand helps. Keeping it off is a problem.

The problem is not weather you eat junk food or not, it is with the portion size of the food that you eat.I went on a sureslim program where they encourage me to eat( just the correct portion sizes)
I started the programme on 9 October 2006 and I weighed 85kg(Size 14).It has been three weeks and with me eating 3 meals a day and the correct portion I have lost 10kg and I am able to junk food like anybody else( when i really , really, think I can handle it.)

Because you're not disciplining yourself. You can't eat healthy for three days and then binge on junk food. It doesn't work that way. When you want to lose the weight, you will. First you have to discipline yourself.
Oh and EXERCISE!!!

It's gonna take more than three days to lose weight. What you need to do is to change your lifestyle, because that lifestyle is what's bringing you down. In order for you to lose weight and be healthy you need a change of diet and start exercising. You can do it, have faith in yourself ans stop going back to what's comfortable for you.
