God did not snap His fingers. He breathed into existence the earth and everything. He spoke it into existence. God created the earth for His glory, and for His creation to worship Him. Also to replenish the Heaven with the angels that fell away. Read again Genesis 1, and you will see. Pray before you read. God reveals something new every time we read a passage.

I heard Joni Lamb explain this last night.

Satan was kicked out of heaven, satan asked God "who now will worship you?" God picked up a handful of dirt and breathed into it and created man.

The truth is God created the earth which is a replica of heaven, he created man to have fellowship with and for his pleasure. He loves us so much as he does all his creation.

The Bible is the greatest source of information you need to know about God. Read it!

well he created earth because he saw that the earth was too empty, and dark so he decide to make the light and separate the earth and the sky because they were together before he separated them. And after few days looking at his good work he decided to make the living plants, animals and the man who will be leading the earth.

It was His good pleasure to do so. Also, since it is on this planet that He created us in His image and likeness, that must have something to do with it all. Give Him the glory, great things He has done!

Revelation 4:11
"You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being."

God created all things for His pleasure.

Could your question possibly be asking, "Why did God make this earth age" (flesh age)?

a human would say it was created for man to exist. An alien would say it was the work of higher intelligence to contemplate its own existence. I say why not? Somebody else might say who cares? An atheist would say it was a fluke, a religionist would say so Jesus could love, a mother would say so her children could grow, a father would say so he can teach his boys how to be men. A monkey would say HEEE HEE HEEH HHEEE HEEE and a dog would lap its tongue and sniff its crotch.
