oh, just walk on over to the bargain section, yea, that section where the lentil bags are half open, most of it spilled over the counter, if you can make out the sell by date, it will probably be long past it, and telltale signs of weevils creeping about can be spotted. alternatively, the fruit counter has a couple of squashed mushy fruit ready to be binned, these often go for 9p or so, if you get a couple, cut off the wormy bits, and you have yourself a feast mate. otherwise, a 99p burger at macdo's might help?
