1.Stoning to death is mentioned in the Quran for a person who was married and shared the bed of another human and there are eyewitnesses for such a thing.

As much as that seems gruesome to you, people would definitely think twice about it if one or two people have been punished like this.

2. In Islam, people are punished for their direct actions on others, not their thoughts and writing. So what the ıranians did was a shame.

3. Yep it is ^^

Edit: I would not resort to stone punishments for people who do adultery while married tho. Id rather let the spouse do the punishing ^^

For Enise..Stoning to Death is not existing in Quran...you have to be sure of your information...and Muslims are different in accepting and refusing it as punishment...any way it is not known by Muslims only but before that by Jews and Christians...but i am Muslim and I do not agree on it for many reasons ...... for Iran others Sharia laws....sorry i believe it not a real Islamic sharia laws but it just human false laws...because calling any human being as spirit of Allhe is really a big fault...we all human beings even prophet Muhammed was human being..

stone to death punishment is not only in Islam but also present in the OT. It is only specific for adultery for married persons and with certain conditions.

Sentencing Salman Rushdie to death? I really don't have a real answer but personally I'm against killing him..but I also disagree 100% with what he wrote.

Iran are Shiests and they have different nominations than Sunni..we don't say these words to our imams.

To stone someone to death there are some requiments (1) benin you need 3 witnesses to the actual sexual act.
Unless you a perv and invite your friends to come and watch you it's easier said then done to produce 3 witnesses.

So Enise condones stoning to death for adultery. Pretty uncivilized, girl. Shows where your culture is. In the dark ages. Your Imam's too. And your sheep like "believers".
