I'd like to find out if the feellings are somewhat mutual before I come out and tell him I'm attracted to him.

The approach is easier if you could find some friends you have in common and find out if he is unattached. You can ask him out for a concert, or a movie, for example. Just say that you have an extra ticket and ask if he would like to go with you. Let him pick up your vibes and show you how much interested he is. In my opinion, woman's smile speaks clearer than any words. Good luck!

Try to make small take with him. You don't have to come out right away and tell him that you like him. In your conversation, try to find out more about him (if he's single or not), try to make it seem like your just curious or that your just being friendly (not necessarily that you like him). He might be interested but might think that your out of he's league. Chances are, if he's available and your 30 and he's in he's late 40's he's more then interested, there are a few things more faltering for an older guy then the interest of a younger women. You realize he could just as easily be going over his own list of what-ifs: "What if she's taken? What if she's not interested in guys or guys like me? What if she thinks I'm stalking her after what happened Thursday?" Someone has to take the initiative in terms of setting up some kind of get-together outside of work here. It might as well be you. If assertiveness scares him, well, that's his loss.

I am n tha same situation u r n. But this wkend he came to me n approached me with what i wanted to hear. Dont just run to him n tell him, show signs that your interested, he'll run to u once he sees how beautiful, funny, & intelligent u r. Good Luck girl. I wish u all tha best of luck.

well, as the "older man"..(my gf is 24..Im 44)..she kinda was dropping hints which i picked up on...and then I made the first move, I guess you could say. But without those hints, I wouldnt have been encouraged to do so. Good Luck!!

You should be able to tell if he reciprocates w/o asking. I would say if you can't tell he is probably not interested.

just ask him straight out. and if hes interested then make your move on him and if he isnt then ask him what you are to him or how he sees you ((friend, good friend -stuff like that))
