Without original sin there would have been no need for Jesus. If God didn't intend Adam and Eve to sin, would His plan involve them just staying alone for all eternity in Eden? If He did intend them to sin, why did He punish them and the rest of mankind after them?

I think so. Why else (if you believe in this thing), when there's a million trees in Eden, point out the single one that they're not allowed to eat from? Why not just put the tree in a thicket of thorns so they can't get near it? The very fact of telling someone they can't do something is going to make them try to do it (or maybe i don't have that much self-control). And after all, them eating the fruit made them enlightened beings, something the Bible says is a blessing from God. So it follows that it must have been intentional? I don't know why he punished them. Maybe the price of gaining knowledge is (sometimes painful) experience, maybe the God of the Bible is an unjust God.

Why would God want his children, his own offspring, to do something against him that hurt him? He shared a perfect love with them, which would have included perfect trust, and he obviously trusted them not to sin. True love cannot be forced, quite obviously. There had to be free will somewhere down the line. We know this from human relationships. I find it very sad that people think God intends people to sin. Why on earth would he break his own heart?

As to God's plan before Adam and Eve sinned, it is clear from knowing God's own heart that it would have been perfect love.

Adam and Eve Tale is a metaphore. Heaven is in your mind. According to the Bible, when we ate the knowledge fruit we got conscious of death. That´s our hell. We´re the only beings who have to live knowing we´re gonna die someday. Animals would still be in "mental" heaven, cause they can live with their minds in peace. So religion exists to balance our minds and also solve other unanswererd questions such as "why do we exist?, where did we came from?, where are we going to?". The more we think about those quetions, the closer to hell we are. Heaven is here and now. That´s all about your mind. So enjoy your life because nobody knows for sure if there´s really something after. Don´t waste precious time of your existence with those questions. That´s the way to peace and plenitude.

I don't have the definite answer you seek. No one will know the true answer until Jesus returns and the world is judged. However, I do know that God presented Adam and Eve with a choice: to live in perfect paradise forever or eat of the fruit and die.

He must have done! If he had the devine plan for humanity and he is as great as every one thinks then it couldn't have gone any other way. If some one is all knowing I doubt even a snake would be able to slip past him.

I would say that in order for a human to apriciate divinity, then he must experiance sin.

Well to be honest he was kind of asking for it. He created man & woman, apparently with free will (but no conscience) and left a forbidden tree and a talking snake in the garden they lived in. That's like the whole uncovered meat thing.

You seem to be assuming that their sin was to have sex. That was not a sin.God intended for them to procreate and extend their paradise earthwide.Their sin was dissobedience. It was possible for them to remain sinless as Jesus demonstrated.

Of course. God already knew they were going to sin, because God knows everything. He told them not to take the apple, then snickered and hid behind a tree to watch them disobey him.

Kinda like the amusement you get as a parent when your kid raids the cookie jar. You just KNEW he/she was going to do it!

If they had not sinned, you and I would not be here. God knew man would sin by Satan's temptation and Jesus knew he had to come before Adam, Eve, the Earth, and even Satan were created.

cause he is twisted and likes to have fun

IF he is real, he created a situation knowing in the end they would fail. He *is* omnipotent right - so he knew the outcome. Sad sad little games
