LOL.
Its called an open relationship. Plenty of people do it. I personally wouldn't. I would beat my husbands behind if he even suggested it. But, some couples go out on seperate dates. As long as their partner knows about it and meets the person they are going on a date with, it doesn't matter... and if she is doing it, he is doing it too. It's not a "womans rights" thing. They both do it.

Some couples have what is called "open relationships" and while not typical and mostly not accepted, they are becoming more and more popular, but I would not say that dating has evolved this far yet, just some people care for each other, but are bored with each other as well....Does that make any sense?

It happens all the time, but there is dating and *dating* ?
Women supposedly date more than men, it is certainly nothing new - why do you think it used to be popular in europe for women to wear veils or hoods ? Also, check the bible and ancient history - the Greek goddess Aphrodite was one of the most feared.

Some people are only married for the legal aspects. They get married like some of us would commit to a relationship. A divorce is like breaking up. Let's hope that this trend is not getting started.

you never know whats goin on behind other peoples closed doors. ther could be a number of explanations. that could have an open relationship. they totally love eachother, but allow eachother to shag outside the marriage. much in the way swingers do. on the otherhand they could be going through a rough patch and decided upon a temporary separation., and have allowed eachother to date while on this separation. who knows dude?

Sounds like an "open marriage" and thats nothing new.
Some do it for the sake of kids & split up when theyre older.

I would say either they are swingers or they have some serious marital issues! This kind of thing does not happen in a normal, healthy marriage.
