A fresh salad is good in a plastic bowl and put dressing on side till your ready to eat put everything you like on it. Hummus is good and pita is on side. Since your trying to save $$$ you could take left overs and freeze them in small plastic bowls and take different things. Soups are great but can get expensive maybe you can make a pot of your favorite and freeze it (potato soup does not freeze well) you can take sandwich stuff just not on bread and have it ready to put on bread when your ready to eat, keep dread in Ziploc bag and sandwich items ready to just flip on bread from plastic sandwich carrier, I have also brought cooked pasta carried butter on side some Parmesan warm pasta add the rest yummy, sandwiches made in pita bread pockets are good also. All to be carried in a insulated bag with ice pack I put my ice pack in a Ziploc bag because it does sweat. What ever you do just remember your toothbrush :) as for the jelly I wouldnt leave it out but thats just me

Soup is always a good standby. There are a lot of tasty soups at the grocery store. Even though you have no fridge, you could still do cold stuff. You could also invest in an insulated lunch bag and pack whatever you want with an ice pack. I don't know about leaving Jelly out after opening it, I wouldn't do it. If you belong to a wholesale club, see if they sell the little individual Jelly's like you would get at a restaraunt. Hope these help a little.

P&J are fine on the shelf after opening.. Bring in some fruit . Get some of those microwavable meals..Like Dinty More ..It requires no refridgeration -just a bowl and a microwave.Get a trail mix to keep with you at work to. They have a good combination of things to keep your energy going. Good luck!

You can take your sandwiches in an insualted lunch bag with a cold pack since you don't have a fridge. There are lots of instant soups and pastas where you just add hot water (from the microwave). You can bring frozen meals (think lean cuisine, banquet, etc) and nuke them at work and of course, you can bring leftovers and heat them up. Hope this helps!

how about the cups of soup shelf stable and most are pop top now so you don't need a can opener they are in their on microwave container you can keep crackers in your desk drawer for them. Canned pastas also come in pop top containers now and the tuna pouches are shelf stable you can get tuna salad kits at the grocery store it comes with tuna mayo packets and crackers, Lunchables are good and they would be ok without refrigeration in the cooler months, uncrustables the new pb &j are frozen and then they thaw throughout the day so they don't need refrigeration, fresh fruit and even pop top fruit cans, single serve puddings, applesauces and jellos.

My mother used to keep opened jars of jelly in the cupboard, and I never got sick. I still keep peanut butter in the cupboard too.
I got myself an insulated lunch bag and one of those freezer packs. I'd make sandwiches and bring yogurt. Freezer pack on the bottom, food, then a few cold cans of soda on top. That always kept it cold til lunch.

this may well be a sturdy nutrition regimen plan... I see you adore your baked beans =] i think of throwing in somewhat cheese with baked beans does no longer injury... additionally, as long as you have curry like a pair of times each week it is going to be ok because of the fact it has a intense fat content textile. decide for steamed vegetables and baked pastas with veg. Eggs have fairly alot of fat in it so attempt to maintain that to the minimum and eat green veg rather. sturdy success!
