It depends.
These are black and white,
God,
Jesus,
Holy Spirit
Saved by Grace
These are not so black and white
Dress
drinking (social drinking not binge drinking)
any other personal conviction that is on me and not you (avoid horror movies, avoid driving at night, avoid or do whatever.)
The things that are not black and white are of purpose, such as an alcoholic will feel convicted to not drink while as another Christian will drink socially. (The bible also tells us not to do things that would make our brother/sister stumble, so I wouldn't socially drink in front of a Christian who is an alcoholic because they might stumble)

There are no absolutes. Each person deals with their own beliefs. Regardless of religion. Knowledge is the key to everything. Education determines the way people look at things. Uneducated people can not look at the broad scope effectively and can not reason with color in their lives. Knowledge is what makes the world a better place for all of us.

The Bible is the Word of GOD.
HE sees everything more clearly than we do, or ever did. If we live by those standards, then what else is there?
Love they neighbor as you love yourself... What better rule of thumb can be given?
You can see all that goes on in this World..
The trash that comes with Society, the loose morals that run amok, and see how its gone downhill with liberalism, that anything goes and nothing is sacred...
I'm sorry, I will live in the way of the LORD, instead of the way of the World, because they will not last...
I wish you well..
Jesse

I have an Aunt that does. I on the other hand see some things as absolute, and other things as having more than one meaning.

No, other religions maybe, but not Christianity. People interpert things differently. It's a matter of the heart. As long as your keeping your eyes on Christ.

Till they do something wrong... then they justify it by dealing in the gray area. But everyone else is definitely black/white to them.

i am sure some do, and I have met them. I am more practical, even if it means that I feel less "right" with God.
here is a basic fact: everyone is easier on themselves in this area, than they are on others.
we allow our selves to stray, while noticing it quickly in those around us.

Yes, they do. This is reflected in their tenets which treat all "sins" as worthy of death. There is no graduation of wrongs and rights.
