Yes. The principles of the Boy Scouts are closely aligned with the principles of Christianity. If his family chooses to reject Christianity without proper understanding of what it entails, why can't the Boy Scouts reject the rejectors?

Boy Scouts is a religious organization. I was one until I was thrown out.

I think it's a bummer to exclude kids from all the fun stuff, social atmosphere, and learning experiences... but it is a private organization supposedly based on Christian values and that is their right, and the reason I will keep my son out of BSA. There's got to be similar organizations without religious requirements but they are smaller and not so well-known.

Actually I believe that boy scouts have to belong to a religion, it doesn't have to be Christianity. And no it is stupid.

I think the boyscouts have the right to include or not include whom they wish. If you don't agree with it, find another group. I don't agree with BBBS bringing in gays and I will not donate money or volunteer for them, but that is my choice and it is theirs to do what they wish.

If it were my kid, I would be all over that... like I was when a teacher told my kid he couldn't wear a pentacle... hehe. THAT is the stuff I am so tired of seeing... and then come in here and listen to Christians whining that they are having their freedoms taken away. They still have all of their freedoms... they just have to give it to us heathens as well and it appears that none of them like it. They cry equality, yet pull **** like this. Really ticks me off.
