When he registers...Florida...if they are doing their job, will run a check on him for warrants...then they will arrest him and hold him for Michigan...he should have went to court...1/2 oz of weed is just a misdemeanor...if he does not register in Florida...they will get him there too...so he should just turn himself in...the court will take that into consideration on his sentencing...because now he has new charges with failure to appear.

Pretty much all of the states have reciprocity agreements, meaning that they'll arrest wanted persons in one state and ship them back to another. The authorities in other states will be put on notice that there's an outstanding warrant, and police always check any person they stop against those lists. As he committed an offense in and was served with process in Michigan, he is required to appear in court there, and failing to do so is a serious offense. Florida will certainly send him back to Michigan if they find him.

Yes, Michigan can extradite your friend....especially if he is wanted on a felony warrant.......he sounds as if he's had some troubles in the past if he has to register as a sex offender. He would be much easier and better for him law wise if he was to return to Michigan and turn himself in.....otherwise he will face a much stiffer penalty if they catch him in Florida and bring him back. But, more importantly.....don't get yourself mixed up in this or assist him or you'll end up with charges against you.

i do unlike your possibilities in case you do no longer ensue on your court visual charm. My wager is that in case you do no longer ensue, they'll enter a in charge judgement and subject a warrant on your arrest. this would be a fantastically undesirable scenario for you. How aggressive they would be on enforcing warrant relies upon on the jurisdiction, yet you will in certainty would desire to be protecting your breath any time you will get pulled over. no longer a exciting thank you to stay. I agree that obtaining off of drugs is a huge thought, yet you exhibiting up in front of a choose with a plan to get off drugs would be even greater desirable for you. in certainty, once you're genuine approximately getting off of drugs and cleansing up your existence, then you definately are already beginning to do the proper subject. SO, i'd advise which you apart from mght do the proper subject and ensue for court, tell your tale and spot what occurs. or you will continually have this putting over your head.

Indeed, your friend can be brought back to Michigan to face charges, and wind up with jail time.

They can if they want to, or they can merely leave the warrant open till he is caught closer to Michigan.
They can
1. go look for him
2. wait till he is stoped by police for speeding or some licence check point ( then they can decide to bring him back or wait to bring him back latter, still leaving the warrant open)

They can, but that doesn't mean that that they will. Warrants usually state if extradition is authorized.

he must be worthless. i hope that he registers in florida for his sex offenses.
since he failed to appear in court, his probation was probably violated. i think they would extradite.
florida has enough scuts without him adding to it
