Incorrect. Even as an atheist pre-med student at one of the country's best colleges, I doubted evolution. There are too many gaps, which is why it's still called a "theory."
Peace.

No. I don't believe in evolution, but I don't bad mouth it. The mathematics alone involved in evolution make it improbable at best. Science holds it's standards at a pretty high level, until it comes to evolution. Empirical evidence used against evolution finds it severely lacking. In addition, scientific theorems, like gravity, have lasted without major change since discovery. Over 85 percent of the original basis for evolution has changed since its introduction. What is taught in school scratches only the surface of evolution. I think that more people should really research the subject - they would find it much less attractive. Read 'A Case for Creation" by Lee Strobel. Noted scientists, Nobel laureate winners, phd's, etc., give a very strong case against evolution. It's a very interesting read.

I find evolution quite illogical, and even if I did not accept the Bible, would still not believe evolution.
Just one example: Mammalian reproduction. Two separate individuals must contribute DNA to form a new being, which then has a unique DNA of its own, with the fully necessary instructions to construct that new being.
This is a quote I read some years ago while researching the teaching of evolution, which was discussing insect evolution, and which also helped turn me away from that teaching:
"The fossil evidence concerning these insects for the past 4 million years have shown little change from that time until our modern insects; they appear much the same now as in the distant past. Therefore, THEY MUST HAVE EVOLVED TO THEIR PRESENT FORM BEFORE THAT TIME."
Man, talk about circular reasoning!
No religion there, just ...

Incorrect. There is sufficient evidence to make Creation a probable theory and belief. There is just as much evidence supporting Creation as Evolution. There even is evidence against evolution. I suggest checking out Darwin's Black Box. The author does not believe in Creationism but also has evidence that disproves the theory of Evolution.

I believe that Satan is the biggest fan of evolution. With one man's THEORY, Satan is assured that he will have millions of more occupants in Hell. The reason I am against evolution, is Number 1 ...it's a very successful lie......Number 2....when all the people who accepted evolution as fact pass from this life and stand naked in the presence of all mighty God, what will they say? "That we chose not to accept Your wonderful creation and plan, instead we gave the credit to the "primordial soup" !
Why knowing that millions of people are sending themselves to Hell, would a Christian stand by and let that happen just because of fear of a little persecution? Think about it...you believe 1000% that Hell is real, that the Lord Jesus Christ came down to earth to die in our place and pay the sin debt of Adam and Eve, and that millions of people reject this to believe in some science fiction evolutionary beginning that will send them to Hell, because they choose not to be with the REAL CREATOR! If you knew this, wouldn't you do everything in your power to try to tell people about it?
That is why a lot of Christians are against evolution. For one moment...for the sake of discussion....give this the benefit of the doubt....what if Jesus is real? What would you do if you knew He was real and evolution was a lie????!!!???

Wrong. I reject it because it flies to so many conclusions. I can list several icons of evolution that do not hold water. However, I badmouth evolution because of its inconsistencies. I am not some brainwashed fool who is spoon fed nor do I follow the popular crowd and accept what they say is true.
Take, for example a hot oven. Heated at 350 degrees. Throw inside of it flour, sugar, eggs, milk vanilla, as many times as you need, and how much do you want to bet that you will NOT come out with a cake? It takes a creator to make a creation.

No the evidence of Evolution is not there. The evidence of creation is. Don't agree so call it bad-mouthing or whatever you want, doesn't change the fact that the evidence of Evolution is not there. As a matter of fact, there's been so much proven against it and so many holes in it, you should study it some time.

I second this question. All the "defenses" of Creationism (or as the right-wing nuts are trying to disguise it, Intelligent Design) seem to be nothing more than attacks against evolution.

"Christians" don't necessarily "badmouth" anything. Pope John Paul II, for instance, characterized evolution as "more than a theory."
I have no problem with the theory of evolution - and frankly, as someone who is constantly staying up to date on paleo-anthropology - I probably know more about it than you.

No. Not really. I reject Evolution because it is a unproven theory that is being forced down our throats.
I also reject it because with the complexity of all Creation, I can't see that coming about by pure chance.
I believe that there must be an intelligence behind this wonderfully complex Universe.
