Please don't keep it in your mind. Tell somebody or visit your doctor. If it's difficult to talk about this for you, just show where you cut. I'm proud of you that you opened up yourself in here for us seeking for a help. Just one more step. Thank you.

Call your doctor today! Right NOW! I used to do this when I was so depressed,it seemed it was the only way I knew how to feel something, anything. I was put on anti-depressants,took several tries to find the right combination,so don't quit 5 minutes before the miracle happens,OK? You are not alone. You do not have to deal with this by yourself. It takes courage to reach out and this is a good first step. Good Luck to you!

It's not the easiest thing to do, but I agree with the first two who answered - the only way out that I know of to really work is to go to your doctor. Depression is a medical condition and requires medical attention, from personal experience.

I don't advice you to take anti-depressants. I have just read that they causes agressive behaviour or tendency to commit suicide for kids. (If you are a kid)
May I suggest something for you that you might consider strange but it is not. I invite you to hear any of the recitations found at the end of the following page (though in Arabic, you will feel something new, maybe for the first time in your life)
http://www.quranonline.net/quranaudio/mp3_sha.html
Here is a sample short recitation:

You need help, baby girl. Go see a doctor, or someone you really trust to take you to one. Feel better, my lovely. You are perfect and have no need for hatred and blame.
PS, try to avoid psychoactive drugs as long as you can. If you REALLY need them, take them only as long as you need to. It sounds like you just need some talk therapy. It's not about quick fixes, it's about changing the way you deal with stress, anxiety, and sadness. It's about growing up, NOT modifying your brain chemistry.

go and see your doctor and tell them how you have been feeling and that you have been self harming...there are things that they can do and organisations they could put you in contact with that can help
