Why is chivalry NOT wanted!?

I'm constantly meeting women who sit around and complain about how they wish they could find a guy that would do this and that. (i.e. the romantic stuff) But yet when they have it, they either run away from it or assume that any guy that would do things like, open doors, bring flowers, compliment them, etc, is automatically trying to get laid!

Do women have no faith in the fact that there are good men out there that will respect them and treat them like they should be treated!

Why do they pass up the good guy to go out with or stay with the jerk they know will treat them like #^$%!!!??

Yes...it is obvious I have picked the wrong women in the past (some have just not worked out, and we remain friends) but you never know that someone is going to use your good hearted nature in the beginning, and you never know that they will not appreciate or take advantage of that.

So it's hard to say what these woman "look" like!

First and foremost you must understand that attraction is not a choice. While most women think they want a really good guy to settle down with when it comes to dating they almost always prefer the opposite. And the more confident they are the more likely this will happen.

Why? Women are always being hit on. So what do they do. They begin to test you to see if your worth their time. They may not even be aware it is a test but they are most definitely aware of what appeals to them and what doesn't.

So with all these guys hitting on them how does and individual guy stand a chance. They may have heard every pick up line there is and if you use one you are in trouble right from the start.

The only way for a man to get past this is to be what all the others aren't. You stand out then and she remembers you. If you are confident.....talk to her like you have known her all her life......tease her....make her laugh even at herself or maybe especially at herself. Treat her like she is your bratty kid sister and she will not believe what you are doing. By being totally unpredictable you make her remember you. You are not like all those other guys and you stand out.

That is why she is attracted to those jerks. She never knows what they will do next and she is attracted to that. You do not have to be a jerk but you do have to not be a wimp.

If you want a woman who appreciates your respect and kindness, and your romantic efforts, then find one. Just as you stated these women don't want to be with you, they want jerks. It's the same for you. You keep picking jerkettes. Find a lady worthy of your attentions. She's out there, I promise.

ya sometimes we are attracted to the wrong people,both men and women. You haven't found the right women yet to appericate you and when you do it'll be the greatest feeling in the world and you'll love to treat her like a princess. Just make sure her heart is yours.

You hit the nail on the head buddy. What do they want? Bad Boys? There are many good men out there. Some call us "old fashioned". We believe that a man has responsibilities. And certain civil acts (like you mention) that are part of being a man.

Nice guys are boring....any woman will tell you. Bad boys are fun and seem to be some sort of a challenge to most women.
I've been both nice guy and a bad boy...I got lots more action when I was a bad boy....when I turned nice I got no respect from women. Of course I was hanging around with the wrong women too.

You are right. Most women fall for the "bad boys". I have done this myself. I finally opened my eyes and went for the good guy. We have been together for 5 yrs now. You just need to hang in there. The right girl will come along.
