If you can master cooking for just one person and don't have a lot of throw away, then home eating is cheaper. Look at the cost of steak. You can buy one and cook it at home for half than what you'd pay out.
If you don't have the equipment or extras that come with cooking, for example seasonings, then the initial start up is high.
Eventually you'll discover it is healthier to eat at home as you can manage the fat and salt, something you will have to watch someday, better to start now.

depends where u go if u go to a buffet then not really if u goto mcdonalds or fast food restaurants and pay 5 dollars then yes so think about a whole week spending 5 dollars for three meals aday and for 7 days a week that would be 15 times 7 =105 dollars for a whole week and that is if u use only five per meal so no u can buy tons on sale and make ur self for less then 100 dollars or buy stuff done for u all u do is heat and its cheaper then 100 like buy fries or onion rings all u do is deep fry or a frozen pizza like digorno or franchesta or celeste or tonys or ellios or buy pot pies and grands biscuits all u do is oven heat them and ur good

no cooking is usually cheaper and if your feeling hungry later theirs always leftovers usually when u go out to places like fast food places u don't bring home a doggy bag if u don't finish your cheeseburger and fries lol now if u buy a whole chicken cook it up with mashed potatoes and a veggie afterward u can make a chicken sandwich for either lunch or a late night snack or chicken salad ,chicken soup, Shepard's pie all from 1 chicken you made the night before give your endless possibilities for the next day or 2 depending on size of chicken

If you're cookoing for one then the odds are the same, but for more than one person I think cooking is cheaper, it all obviously depends on where you eat ou as well as what you cook!

Generally no, unless you're eating off the McD's dollar menu everyday. Real restaurants tack on a huge margin to cover utilities, wages, profits, that kind of thing. So a filet mignon at home would still be cheaper than one at a restaurant.

Depends on the restaurant you go to. Also depends on how many people you are paying for. If it's a family then it's cheaper to make homemade meals.

depends on where you normally go. IF you go to some ethnic resturant or some fine foods resturant, I think it would be cheaper/about the same than attempting to locate specialty foods yourself(I live in the boonies, so going out would be cheaper in this instance). However, if you normally go to some franchised place(i.e., McD's,etc.) It's cheaper to just make it yourself.
