Fabric softener will not remove color from your hair. It may irritate your scalp, and coat your hair so it will be greasy-feeling and limp.
You must have the color removed with a product designed to remove permanent color (HAIR BLEACH). This can be done at home, but not without some risk of burns to your scalp, hair damage/loss. And then you have the brassy color to deal with after the color is removed, and risk further mistakes with trying to re-color hair that is very porous.
If you don't understand what this is, you really should see a professional colourist with experience in color correction. It is money well spent for great hair and piece of mind.
Good luck!

Get to a hair dresser or go to a beauty supply store. If your natural hair color if dark and you want blonde you will need a stronger "bleach" peroxide liquid than the store bought kits provide. The staff at a professional supply store or a hair dresser will be able to get the color you want.

I have never heard of that either, I don't think I would try it.
Sally's beauty supply stores carry something called ultra blue- it's a chemical color stripper that you can use at home.
But honestly, I'd spend the extra $ and let a professional do it.

Your friend does not know what she is talking about.
And what you need done is more than i can type here.
Seek a professional before you seriously mess up your hair and you cannot get it fixed until it starts to grow.

Apple cider vinegar will strip your hair. Do NOT use Fabric softner. You have no idea what that will do to you. Dont do it.

maybe, it can be used to strip wallpaper from walls. i would test a little spot first, if you're bent on doing it. i'm not sure it would be great for your hair.
