RETAIL THERAPY!! If you're a runner, buy some new fancy trainers. If you lift weights, buy some fancy barbells etc. If you're a dieter, make the effort to buy some healthy foods. If you've made the effort with the resources for whatever you're trying to get motivated for, they WILL motivate you. SECONDLY write down what you want to achieve in the long term and the short term or even draw up an attractive poster about it and hang it somewhere you can see it. Set daily goals that you can tick off every day to give you that "I've achieved something feeling". Hope this helps!!

You might try getting you a day planner and listing things or a to do list. This will make you get up and have a purpose. I mean if I know for sure what I intend to do today and mark it off as I do it, the time does not get away from me and I am not as likely to sit and do nothing. It has helped me alot. And moving around in itself is exercise. Once you start, you will start to get more energy. Set the alarm, and just get geered to do your job ahead for the day. It works, and in the process I have lost 20 lbs. woohoo. Also, if your physician says it is ok, you should take a good multivitamin to help give you what you are not getting daily. Good luck.

People become motivated by things they feel passionate about, just watch any crowd at a football match.
Some people find cleaning really hard work where others love doing it bacause of the end result.
Motivation will come to you when you find something you want to do or look positively towards the end result.

That's a good question: First, can we rule out that you might be depressed? Depression will do it. Secondly, are you in any pain, even mild aches and pains more often than not? This can make motivation suck. I have rheumatoid arthritis, mildly and that makes me not want to get going. Third, if you don't drink any coffee or tea or any other beverage containing caffeine, try a small amount of coffee. I get a lot of energy from one large cup of coffee. You might want to try that.
Hope this helps out.
