Well, if your definition of being a "real man" is summed up in hard rock, karate fights, car chases and jackass-style stunts, then I guess this sort of juvenile performance might appeal to you. The average 10 year old boy would certainly enjoy it. Real men are mature, responsibile and faithful, respect rather than exploit women, love children. This has nothing to do with car chases or karate. Some real men do enjoy such entertainment, some don't. Some real men enjoy gardening and reading and classical music, some don't. Equating a pseudo-macho circus with "real manhood" portrays a shallow and incomplete concept of manhood. All a man really has to do to be a "real man" is pattern his life after the example of Jesus Christ, the quintessential "real man".

I read the article, and I would say that it's a bunch of crap. You got a bunch of boys wanting to be boys. I know REAL Christian men and they are respectful and love their wives and their children and take care of their families. Going around and singing songs about needing more testosterone and getting a group of men in a frenzy is very dangerous.

I have no comment except I am lmao. I am not predjudice in anyway, but I have found christian men to be a little whussyfied.
I love the term back slider. I hear this from men all the time, yeah I was once a back slider, I looked at Pamela Andersons ****, and knew it was bad. But I couldnt help myself, afterall I am a man.
EXCACTLY!!!! SO I GUESS ITS OK TO TRAIN MEN TO DENIE THEIR MANLY IMPULSES BECAUSE IT IS A SIN.
WELL WHY DONT YOU TELL HIM, HEY GUESS WHAT ITS A SIN YOU WERE BORN. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT ONE? NOW PICK UP THAT SWORD AND FIGHT IN MY NAME.
Yeah what a great incentive. I wish you well

We've had groups like that around for centuries. In my opinion, the most refined and engaging is Opus Dei. We are men and know that we are men, but also hear and follow our calling. These guys in your article are just less refined.
Peace,

It makes some good points, but its just an article and its sounds just like someone trying to start a new kind of church and gather new followers. Personally you will never see me in a church sunday morning, i will either be watching football or sleeping. I consider myself a peaceful man, but I like to lift wieghts, and watching people fighting in competetions like ufc and pride. I also believe violence maybe necessary to defend yourself or to fight evil. We should all just be ourselves though, and if thats not adequate we should try to improve.

it takes a real man to accept Jesus and be a follower of Him
He has to swallow his pride, obey and be disciplined
My hubby is a very strong Christian-I think he is very manly
He exudes strength, wisdom, and faithfulness
He is an awesome husband and dad also

They're not any more or less masculine than non-christian men...
But they are definitely more retarded than non-christian men....
.... unless the non-christian men in question are muslims, in which case its about even.
