It appears to me that Muslims are killing far more Muslims that our military is in Iraq. I find that strange and muse why there really is no unity among the Muslims except in their hatred of the West. Does it not bother them to blow up fellow Muslims, women and children included?

You don’t really understand do you? Well your listening to the mass media. How would you know if the suicide bombers were not Muslims, how would you know if they were not bribed?
As a Muslim we should not have hate for others, So we cant hate the west. If we hate the west then why are we living in the western countries? Do not judge Islam by the Muslims but the Holy books.
Killing one person is like killing the whole of mankind this is what Islam teaches so what gives the suicide bombers the right to kill innocent people? Well their not Muslims. Allah will send the suicide bombers to hell. Islam means peace NOT terrorism or violence and even killing.
The mass media is trying to clamp down and try to stop Islam spreading as Islam is the worlds fastest growing religion. there is approx 1.6 billion Muslims in the world right now and is ALL Muslims are terrorists, violent, unlawful then why isnt 1.6 billion Muslims committing such acts right now? Its only a small percent of Muslims that become 'Extremist' but the mass media makes it out as if most Muslims are like that.

Yes Allah will punish any one that transgresses and terrorizes innocent civilians.
Iraq has a civil war rightnow, even the US had one of those remember?
they are fighting over Political power and who gets to be in charge of Iraq's government.

Sunni and Shia used to live with each other for years, God knows who is behind all this killing. you never see Sunni or shia fighting each other in any islamic country except Iraq.
Hint: iraq is being occupied.
and regarding how will God punish them, here is a verse talks about killing yourself or killing each other:
[29] ......And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allâh is Most Merciful to you.
