I attend church, and when my son lived at home, he went too.
The church I attend has about 300 in service, with about 100 of them being children, all ages form babies through teens and young adults. There aren't very many over the age of 80.

I don't "attend" church, but I go when I have to for a wedding or funeral. My children have "attended" a church, once, when their uncle was preaching. Otherwise, they haven't had to go.

I'm 24 and attend regularly... I did with my faimly growing up. Stopped for about 4 or so years when I didn't want to. (I figure why attend it if I don't want to be there, right?) but a few years ago realized it is somewhere I want to be and a part of my faith.

Lots of people do... and I rather wish they didn't, but I don't have much say in the matter.

Personally... I wouldn't unless I was paid a large sum of money. I physically cannot breathe in churches and chapels, and have the tendency to start choking before eventually asphyxiating and passing out.... then waking up somewhere else since I've been carried or dragged out.

Too many people and far too many children.
If children are told at church every week, and probably at home as well, that a certain religion is truth, then they'll probably never be able to question it objectively. That's not freedom of religion.

At my mother-in-law's church majority are older people. She complains how my generation is going to hell for not going to church. But she is just a big hypocrite so I do not listen to her.
