TAke your time, there's no rush!
Of course, get to know the opposite sex better, make good friends, but what you should be doing is WORKING ON YOURSELF.. Do whatever you need to do to make yourself the right boy/girl/man/woman for the right person.
I'm not saying that you won't make mistakes... I'm not saying that you make yourself great and then suddenly everyone who comes up to you will be perfect! But whatever you do, don't just rush in.
Your love is a precious asset. Don't give your heart away cheaply.
Don't get desperate, or else you'll make extra-dumb mistakes.
16 would be the absolute minimum. But it really depends on the circumstances. Some people might be good to go at 16, some 18, some even older!

Group dates at 16 alone dates 18. But then again group dates are so much more fun and less intense.

If you're asking what age people started dating? I myself was in grade school.. but it wasn't anything serious back then.

The teen years (13-19). That is the year that the body or mind starts to go for it i guess.

Our daughter won't be allowed to date until at LEAST 16. Just 7 short years to go---better get my shot gun ready. lol

I didn`t start until I was 19.
I was not attractive ,it wasn`t until the girls actually got to know me, did they want to date me .I`m funny smart and giving.
