cream cheese....

Doesn't matter which brand. And it's no bake. I don't know why they talk about no bake cheese cake. I use the recipe in calling all cooks. What makes it good is the lemon juice.

1 graham cracker pie crust (6 oz)
1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 c lemon juice (fresh or bottled) I use bottled
1 tsp vanilla

let cream cheese stand at room temp until softened. mix all ingredients until smooth. pour in pie crust and chill 3 hours until firm

you can add pie filling on top if you want or anything else you want (I've seen all types of things) but I like mine plain!!!

Kraft's Philadelphia Cream Cheese - depends on the size or amount you want to make, you can buy the small package or larger package and usually there is a great recipe printed on the box.

Cream cheese, and the brand doesn't matter. Philidalphia Cream cheese is not any better than a generic brand, it just has the "name", all cream cheeses are made in the same way. I love cheesecake, will you send me some?

For baked cheesecakes, generally cream cheese (the soft runny type from the deli, not Philadelphia). You can also use Mascarpone or Ricotta for either baked or cold cheesecakes.
